for is continued closures in the city. monument street is closed near patterson park. up to speed on the major roadways. 59. yourself as much time as possible. 57 as you travel on the west side down towards edmondson. nine minutes on southbound 895 from the merge down to the harbor tunnel tolls. about 10 minutes on 95 south from the beltway to 32. here's a quick, live look at traffic. north side running smoothly. no problems to report that dulaney valley. this is 70 west of the beltway. traffic is running without delay. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11.

investigating a late-night shooting. it happened just before 10:30 last night. a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. homicide detectives were called to the scene. a rash of car break-ins has residents on alert this morning. >> kim dacey is live outside county police headquarters in towson. >> most of these were crimes of opportunities. people left their cars unlocked. police say there's a string of a least 30 car break-ins over the past two weeks. homeowners say they rifled through the cars and stolen things like credit cards and
bags. thieves stole valuables. the importance of locking your car doors and making sure you don't have any valuables in plain sight. that is a vice homeowners are taking. >> this has never happened in this neighborhood but now we have to be more vigilant. people are reminding each other to close grudge doors and to lock car doors. i will not be leaving any car doors open. >> police do think of these cases are related but don't have any suspects. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> hoping for information this morning that help them find two assault suspects. a man and woman approached someone to use his phone. he said no and try to get into his car.
they returned and demanded he let them inside. they hit him and fled on foot. a paramedic remains suspended this morning for allegedly assaulting a patient. a colleague of shaun white filed a report about what happened. investigators say he slapped a woman and slammed her onto a stretcher. part of the altercation was captured on surveillance video. one person it disagrees with the police version of the story. >> there is no audio on the tape. i see a combative patient and shaun trying to restrain her. do i think the patient care was said the at mupmost. >> an investigation has been

we could see some bumpy weather late in the day. not necessarily in terms of wind gusts over 60 miles per hour but the possibility of tornadoes. even if we get some moderate rain showers, some could start to produce weak tornadoes. that would be late this afternoon and into this evening. rain is likely this afternoon. it will be a windy day. high temperature around 80 degrees. not a good idea to take the boat out. feetf three to 23 or fou four feet. there could be a sprinkle on

access to the homes as well. >> police say most are crimes of opportunities. people have left their cars open. ivy church wrote sits in a quiet part of timonium. they move their family here three months ago. they grew lax about locking their doors because they felt safe. >> my husband's car was one of them. he had some credit cards in his car. please >> said the thieves hid about 20 cars in the neighborhood that night. >> the first car are went to, everything was all over the car. >> most of the car's rear easy targets because they were unlocked. there have been 30 break-ins
over the past two weeks. police say the thieves got a hold of garage door openers and let themselves in, stealing valuables. people are listening to a reminder from police not to leave anything valuable in your car and to make sure it is always locked. >> there are neighbors who have been here for a long time who have said this has never happened in this neighborhood but now we have to be more vigilant. so i think people are helping each other remind each other to close garage doors and lock car doors and things like that. i certainly will not be leaving any car doors open. >> police believe these cases are linked but have no suspects. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a dispute over a parking spot turns into a fight. a woman in police custody. it happened friday night. investigators say brandy ames
became irate after another driver pulled into a spot she wanted. a fight broke out. >> driver entered her vehicle and struck the passenger of the volkswagen. >> she drove into another person hitting her as well. she faces numerous assaults and traffic charges. >> the school system is looking to hire a data forensics company to look through the thousands of standardized test results for possible cheating. they would review 8000 tests. more than a dozen schools saw a dramatic drops in their test scores in the last three years. one principal been reinstated after being fired.
